The Commission for Social Justice (CSJ) is the anti-defamation arm of the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA). The two primary goals of the CSJ are:
• To fight bias, bigotry and defamation aimed at Italian-Americans as well as other groups.
• To promote a positive image of Americans of Italian descent.

Stella Grillo has assumed the position of New York State CSJ President!
Stella was appointed to the presidency at the 99th Annual Grand Convention in June 2005.

La Bella Lingua CSJ District Achievement
Joseph Pawolaski from Bellmore High School and Steven Ferrisi from Garden City High School were each awarded $500 and a certificate for their achievements in Italian Language.
