PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Dear Brothers and Sisters: It’s hard to believe that Spring has finally arrived. I’m so happy to see the beautiful spring flowers and the warmer weather. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your families. This is a wonderful time of the year. It really picks up your spirits. As I write this letter, we are preparing for our Football Wedding, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd. We are looking forward to having a wonderful wedding. It was great seeing so many of our members working together to make the Football Wedding a success. I will thank all those who helped in the next LaVoce. The dues for the year 2005 are already over due. Please use the invoice in LaVoce to send in your dues. You are only a member in good standing when you pay your dues. We are still waiting to receive 8 x 10 photographs of Past Presidents. If you know someone who was a Past President and is not active please let them know we are looking for their picture. You may call Sr. Kathryn Grande at 676-7436. The dues for the year 2005 are already due. Please use the invoice in LaVoce to send in your dues. You are only a member in good standing when you pay your dues. The Memorial Day Parade is on Monday, May 30th. All members are welcome to march in the parade. We will be marching with the famous Felix Sangenito Band. If you have a uniform, please wear it. We would like a good showing. The parade starts at 12 noon. We should assemble at the Lodge at 11 A.M. and walk up to the school. After the parade we will have a collation at the Lodge. Please come to our May 4th membership meeting, as we celebrate our 85th Anniversary by having Walter Wolff as our guest speaker. Please be prompt. We would like to start on time, as we will be having a collation after the speaker. Happy Anniversary Loggia Glen Cove No. 1016!
