PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Dear Brothers and Sisters: It’s hard to believe that Spring has finally arrived and summer is on the way. I’m so happy to see the beautiful spring flowers and the warmer weather. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. This is a wonderful time of the year. It really picks up your spirits. We had a wonderful Football Wedding. It was a lot of fun and I think most of the people had a great time. It was great seeing so many of our members working together to make the Football Wedding a success. I would thank all the brothers, sisters and friends who helped with the Wedding: Lillian and Mike Ceriello, Phyllis Cipollino, Al and Dante DeBlasio, Mike and Betty Santoro, Jim and Peggy McAleer, Frank and Grace Stanco, Sarah Green, Nina Trolio, Rose Pascucci, Kathy Grande, Carmine Gioino, Rocco Lisena, Tom and Alice Savage. A special thankyou to Br. Nino Procacci, our Chef and his committee: Brs. Carmine Gioino, Dante DeBlasio, Mike Santoro and Angelo Grande who helped prepare the food for our 85th Anniversary Celebration, honoring Walter Wolff. Nino not only supervised the cooking, but also donated $100 toward the cost of the food. Bravo! Nino. The dues for the year 2005 are already over due. Please use the invoice in LaVoce to send in your dues. You are only a member in good standing when you pay your dues. We are still waiting to receive 8 x 10 photographs of Past Presidents. If you know someone who was a Past President and is not active please let them know we are looking for their picture. You may call Sr. Kathryn Grande at 676-7436. The Memorial Day Parade is on Monday, May 30th. All members are welcome to march in the parade. We will be marching with the famous Felix Sangenito Band. If you have a uniform, please wear it. We would like a good showing. The parade starts at 12 noon. We should assemble at the Lodge at 11 A.M. and walk up to the school. After the parade we will have a collation at the Lodge.
