2006 OSIA NATIONAL STUDENT SUMMIT WASHINGTON, D.C. - March 17-19
Loggia Glen Cove will sponsor one student to attend this summit. Student must be an Italian American high school senior or college freshman or sophomore. The Lodge pays the registration fee which covers hotel, meals, tours and summit materials. Travel expenses are responsibility of the student.

Ladies Christmas Party
A special thank you to Sr Lillian Ceriello for organizing the Ladies Christmas Party. It was a great success and everyone had a wonderful time.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The nominating committee of Loggia Glen Cove #1016 will present the slate of officers for the year March 2006-2007 at the January 4th membership meeting. Once the slate of officers is given and accepted, there may be nominations from the general assembly. A person nominated from the floor must be present to accept the nomination. If there are no other nominations for each position, then the nominations will be closed. In February, formal elections will take place for any contested positions in which there are two candidates. This election should be by prepared closed secret ballot. If there are no contested positions, the Lodge recording secretary will cast one ballot for the elected slate of officers and state delegates.
The chairperson of this committee is Br. Tony Ceriello.
The members of the committee are: Sr. Kathryn Grande and Brs. Tony Sclafani, Michael Carrera and Lee Cerullo.

Children’s Christmas Party
What a wonderful day for the parents, grandparents and the children. The children were entertained by the magician Mr. Boodles, better known as Wayne Parsons. They received beautiful presents from Santa Claus, also known Br.Tony Sclafani. The event was planned by Sr. Lillian Ceriello, Chairperson and committee members Srs. Janis Ceriello, Antonetta Sclafani, Nina Trolio, Mary Capobianco, Josephine DiSibio, Grace Stanco, Rose Pascucci and Br. Lou Saviano.
